JOHN GALLIANO'S LAST COLLECTIONS FOR CHRISTIAN DIOR

Photobucket

It's really sad to sit and watch the last collection of John Galliano for Christian Dior.
This week not just fashion world but all the world is shocked
by the news "Galliano was arrested"
I'm sure you all have known what have happened, and i don't wanna talking
about that in my blog (we all have our own opinion)

Since he was hired in 1996, Galliano continue to show his existence
in this fashion world and Christian Dior became one of the fashion show
that all people wanna see during the fashion week.
Not just talking about his amazing talent in made all the ready to wear collection
but he can prove that he's one of the briliant designer alive with his
haute couture collection

In this F/W 2011-2012 collections, Galliano brings the theme
the English Romantic poets and all their spin-offs, in the way of early-nineteenth-century
capes, coats, knickerbockers, and fragile dresses.
Full, hooded cloaks, floppy felt hats, flippy pleated school skirts,
suede clam diggers and silk bloomers with bows on each hip came in
a rich palette of burgundy, green, brown and black, interspersed with
olive suede frock coats, pale bouclé suits and dressier coats of undulating
silk ruffles interrupted by stripes of fur.
The eveningwears look really stunning in the models body.

Of course i wish the best for Galliano himself, but
with or without John Galliano,
i still believe that Dior Home will continue to rock this fashion industry
just like Sidney Toledano said in his speech :

"What you are going to see now is the result of the extraordinary, creative,
and marvellous efforts of these loyal, hardworking people"

in the end of fashion show without John Galliano

But anyway, instead of the arrestment, he has a great talent! Hope he could make his way back to designing life =)
Thanks for ur advice, I do think about becoming a make up artist someday ^^

There's always controversy where there's limelight. I love the colors of the 3rd outfit and I love the lingerie inspired gowns, so sexy/romantic.

Unfortunate indeed. I love the colors, texture, and cut of these coats. I hope he gets the help he needs and if there was any inconsistencies that it comes to light.

Galliano is such a talent, its really sad he screwed everything up. He had the world going for him. Those garments in your photos are all so beautiful.

John's collection is really good, he is talented, too bad for his racist comment. I'm sure in a few years he will have his own collection

Oooh, love the cape and that Zorro-like cat on the first one. LOL. The boots are awesome too, too bad that if I wore this in public people will stare at me.
